Have a couple of questions for anyone that may be able to answer them. We went to pick up our new Acadia today after waiting out a couple of snowstorms to get it unloaded from the train and to the dealership. Much to everyone's surprise when we arrived at the dealership, we noticed that the Acadia was not built like we ordered it. It was built with 7 passenger seating and we ordered it with 8 passenger seating. We had ordered it originally because it was hard to find a SLE with the 8 passenger seating and we really wanted the 8 passenger seating over the 7 passenger seating. I have a copy of the order that we placed and it clearly shows the ABC 8 passenger seating option on the order, but the vehicle that was delivered clearly does not have it. The dealer is trying to locate another one they can bring in with the correct options, but if that does not work out, we don't want to wait for another one to get built correctly. Here are my questions.
Has anyone ever heard of this before on the Acadia or similar model?
Will GM corporate help in anyway to remedy this situation versus putting everything on the dealer?
Thanks for your help.
