Good morning fellow Acadia owners

I have a 2019 GMC Acadia Denali. I am in need of a new key fob. I do not have the original. My local dump has it as of yesterday when my keys and cell phone accidentally found their way into the trash. Can I purchase a new one from any dealership? I purchased the car from Cars.com so I wouldn't think they'd sell replacement keys.

How are you starting your Acadia with no key fob?

Anyway - - - Yes, you will need to go to the dealer, buy a fob (recommend two) and have them programmed.
You can also buy some on Ebay or Amazon . .. but need to know the exact one to get as there are several depending on model year.
Either way . . . without at least one working key fob. . . the dealer must now program the fobs.

A local locksmith is probably your best bet because they can likely come to your house and get you going in order to program the new remotes. You likely would have to have vehicle towed to the dealer which would be costly if you don't have AAA, or insurance towing coverage.

Most locksmiths will have the security credentials needed to access KEY CODES via the AC Delco TDS web site and should be able to help.

Hopefully the OP has gotten his new fob(s) in the month since he last posted, but not all locksmiths are equipped to handle automotive work. Look for an automotive locksmith.
Dunno if he was BS'ing me, but according to the 'smith that made me a duplicate key & fob for my Colorado this past summer there's a subscription fee on the programming computer that has to be paid every time he uses it.
