Here is our Delived Late 2-5-08....
Still dirty from transport because it was storming when we picked it up...
But they did get the Chrome wheels swapped on for us!
Going back for detail next few days, weather permitting, meanwhile window tint, billet grill and
DVD headrests are going in.

Did you get those wheels off ebay?
Kinda but not really.
I wasn't able to find a set for exchange so I bought a take-off set off of Ebay. Got in contact with one of the Ebay sellers and at the time they had a set in the plating process so they had not listed them yet.
They shipped them out once they where done and I returned the set I bought off of Ebay as the "core exchange". Have had them sitting in the garage waiting for the Acadia to arrive for almost 3 weeks. :banghead:
Worked out well, had the dealer swap them out as part of the deal we worked out with them. Saved us $120-150.
Which reminds me, I have a great set of take-offs for sale! ;)

Today the Windshield is getting tinted to 50% and I would like to get the headrests done over the weekend!

I assume tint is legal in OK? Don't see windshields done that much, at least not around my area. Any problems seeing at night?

Looks nice.

Where did the DVD headrests come from? Are they the GM product?
They are from GM, and can be a dealer installed option/upgrade.

Tint is legal in OK, on the sides and rear.
Windsheilds are not, it is only 50% on the sheild.
Kinda hard to tell it is done when the sides are 5%.
No problems at night, my Crew Cab was 20% on sheild so this is alost clear to me now.
Work fine / better with the HUD also.

Thanks Sioxie, you are correct, GM accessory.
Looks to be an easy install, the harness it 100 "plug-n-play" so it will plug right into the factory hard except for 1 or maybe 2 wires and bolting a ground ring to an existing bolt.

Mind if I ask how much you paid for them? We went back and forth on whether to get them instead of the flip down. Decided to do flip down so third row could see too. We have our kid's friends with us all the time, so it was important that third row was able to see. We might add them at some point.

Not at all....
We paid $1495 for them. That is Dealer cost plus 10-15% I believe.
I think the "actual" cost was something like $1289 in the parts dept.
My Wife works for the Dealer group and we couldn't get them for cost for some reason..

is that $1495 installed or just for the part? thanks...

Well, I have only installed the headrests as of know, but have looked over the instructions and it seams to be pretty straight forward. The headrests them selves only took about 30-45 taking extreme care while removing the backs of the seats to route the cables to the bottom of the seats. Kind of skipped a few steps so we could see them in the Acadia. Haven't gotten time this weekend to work on it.

I will try to get some pics along the way. I tend to get wrapped up in things and forget. I will get the instructions / directions scanned in to pass along to the forum for review!
