Hey All - I just purchased a 2015 Acadia SLE in Quicksilver Metallic. It had 108560 miles when I bought it last week. So far, our whole family loves it. It was a size upgrade from our dearly loved 2013 Kia Sorento. Kids getting bigger, inlaws want to travel with us. Anyway...

My question is, do the roof rack cross rails on a 2017 fit my 2015? I found a gentleman who has some for sale and I'd like to buy them, I just need to make sure they either will or won't fit.

Thanks in advance for your help. It is much appreciated!

They should if the seller's vehicle is a 2017 Acadia Limited. Otherwise, they won't fit. The Acadia was redesigned on a new platform in 2017. Only the Limited was built on the older platform, which matches the one for your vehicle.

It will be safer looking for the best price on GM part no. 84130841 - Roof Rack Cross Rails. You'll find a fitment list in the link to use as a guide if the seller lists the part only by model year.

BTW, welcome to the forum. Good luck with your shopping.

I believe you'll have to change the factory radio to an aftermarket one that has such capability.

To answer about radio. I replaced my 2015 GMC Acadia Denali radio 4 times until i found something that all i wanted. Suggestion pick a Kenwood DMX-9707S (wirelees carplay or android auto) or JVC’s unit which supports iDatalink Maestro - WHY? those are the only ones that support Dynamic Parking Lines and will also allow to compensate the fact backup camera is not on center! If you do not care about backup camera, go for Sony XAV-AX210 with idatalink maestro support. The screen is pure and not confusing and the only one that looks oem.

Also get the metra adapter not the other brand. Metra finish matches the oem finish. The other brand name starts up with american something. Crutchfield will offer you that one - say no.

With those 2 pieces go to maestro.idatalink.com and enter your car specs and select maestro RR and it will tell you which (wire harness) components you will need. You will find those parts online. Crutchfield will sell them too

Ping me if you need any additional help! I have put carplay on my bmw 135i, my acadia, my daughter’s subaru, even on my motorcycle… google carplay on vstar deluxe 1300… lol
