I found some 2020 GMC Canyon wheels and put those on my 2025 Acadia AT4 and mounted one size larger tires. 8.5” width wheels so 0.5” wider than stock and 35mm offset versus the 50mm offset stock so the wheels stick out about 0.75” wider. Fits well. Looks great.

I bent a little sheet metal lip or flange on the front of the rear wheel wells just to be sure.

looks great, I'm looking to do something similar.
I have a 2020 Acadia AT4 and looking at Canyon rims.
Im a bit concerned tho, as you mention the Acadia offset is 48-52mm, the Canyon rim is 30.

Was there any problem with the 30mm rim rubbing against the brake caliper?

No problems with brake caliper clearance. The wheel ID is the same because it is an 18” wheel just like stock. And the less or smaller offset means more clearance anyway because the wheel is pushed out or away from the caliper.

Does the AT4 not have wheel well liners? That would be my first concern at full-lock on my Denali.

Yes, it has the wheel well liners. I just removed them to look around and to bend over a small sheet metal lip that I thought might rub on larger tires
