No problem... the bigger issue is why the GM NVH engineers (Noise/Vibration/Harshness) can't come up with a control scheme that doesn't require actuation of these solenoids to determine the health of the circuit on the brake system, transmission, etc. Owning vehicles of other makes, which have ABS and electronically-controlled transmissions, they DON'T make noise... and function day-to-day just fine.

Great thread, great posts....
I recently became aware of these noises as well, chalked it up to another great Gommit Motors product. Nice to know its the car going to sleep and
not 'unusual'.

So, while poking around under the hood trying to see if I can fix my AC line, I noticed that after I turn my Outlook off, I get this quiet high pitched, vaguely electronic sound followed by a clunk, then it repeats. Sort of 'Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee-katchunk Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee-katchunk'. It sounds like it's coming from up under the base of the windshield, at the firewall. I don't see an obvious source, though.

I also seem to hear the high pitched sound while the engine's running too.

Is this normal and I've just not noticed it before?
what year Acadia is this of yours? My 2019 does it also
