There's a 2014 service manual available for download/online viewing on this forum (General Discussions/GMC Acadia section). Look through it and see if you can identify that part yourself. Appears to me that it could be part of the crankcase ventilation system.

 

Thanks. Found the service manual. According to the manual, it’s a PCV tube. However when I search for the part online it’s giving me a PCV tube leading from the engine air filter compartment.

My advice would be take the diagram with you along with the vehicle's VIN to a dealer's parts department and order what you need. They may have one in stock.
