You can purchase the laminate disc repair kit on Ebay around $50 then DIY. It is not a difficult job as it provides the instruction. However, removing the TECHM requires to remove other engine components. The hardest one is to remove the air filter box where its shape makes it hard. You have to turn/tilt in order to make it out. Check other discussion posts regarding to this. Note that, the kit uses a film type discs that are similar to the OEM. So they are not durable but it is cheap. Dorman sells a remanufactured module which it states on its website that it uses different disc which should last longer if not life time.
