Has anyone else experienced chipping off the tinted laminate that covers the chrome trim pieces on the front of their Acadia? I noticed one spot on my ‘19 Acadia last summer and now a second spot has popped up on the grill. If you did have this happen, any luck with getting GM to fix it or should I just take to my body guy? Pictures below (excuse the road dirt, just had snow the other day)

I assume you're asking if GM will fix it 'for free.' Whether or not GM will fix it under warranty depends upon two things: 1. the status of your vehicle's B2B warranty, and 2. any evidence they find that the flaking has been caused by road debris impact. GM has no obligation to warrant repairs on a vehicle if it has been damaged by road debris even if the warranty is still in effect. Your vehicle is nearly three years old. Surely it has taken a few debris hits from driving it that long. Save yourself some heart ache and visit your local body shop.
