i just bought a 2008 gmc acadia SLE and when i drive it it makes a wierd noise that comes from between the front right wheel and the engine. and it doesnt do it all the time. mostly when its cold. it is like something is hitting againsts something. (example tire against fender.) ive taken it twice to the dealer and they tell me that they cant find whats wrong with it. i put 300 miles on it. what are my options. because i did not just pay them 30,000 dollars for something thats defective. ive heard that you could get them to give you another one. if they cant figure out whats grong with yours. anythign would help thanks.

I also have experienced the same problem with my 07 Acadia SLT.
It has really started to get quit noisy lately as the weather is cooler now.
I took it to my dealer today and they advised me that the problem noise is coming from the steering column , and has to be replaced. They also advised that there is a new steering column model out now that should eliminate this from re-occuring. The part is about $1000.00 and will take a couple hours to reaplce. Mine is now on order.
I hope this helps.
