Stability track and ABS

09 Acadia had the Service stability track and ABS come kn when driving on the highway. Replaced the foot pedal sensor, worked a little then it came on again. Now it's more frequent. Got it coded and it showed RR wheel speed sensor, replaced that and it still comes on. Before the fault comes on my brake pedal feels like it's on gravel and it makes a howling sound. Also sounds like there's a stick in the tire or draging something. Once the faults comes on it goes away and everything feels like normal. Any advice is appreciated. Not a car guy but I'm willing to fix things on my own.

I think you'll find that the right rear ring magnet is damaged, which is attached to the wheel bearing. From the mechanic who replaced mine, "GM put in a real cheesy part when they designed the Acadia". Cost $500.00 for replacement and labor, hear in Michigan. Bad part is all 4 wheels has the same part that could go bad. Forgot had the exact same symptoms clicking noise when I started out and then would away, brakes felt like they were pulsating, and sounded like I was dragging a tree limb.

Agree. . and sometimes the magnet pieces/fragments and scatters all over the area.
Really makes a mess and need to make sure all the particles are removed before repairing.

I'm having the exact same issue. My 2011 SLT will have the same issues until I reach 40mph, then the ABS and "Service Stabilitrak" lights come on. At that point, the grinding goes away and brakes function normally until I turn the truck off. I've replaced both the front left and right rear sensors, because thats what the codes indicated. My issue is that the noise very clearly seems to be coming from the front left. This post makes me doubt that the problem is with the front left wheel bearing. Does anyone think I should bite the bullet and replace the front left wheel bearing without confirmation that the bearing is indeed the issue? I'm hesitant to spend another $180 for a part that may or may not be the problem. Every mechanic that I have talked to has no real solution for me without the trial and error route. Thanks in advance for your input!

Take it to a mechanic, and have them pull the wheel, they should be able to tell you if it's the bearing or not.
Hi there. I hope this can help you. I did a lot of searches on this issue and came on in depth article which may be worth reading, search for "Troubleshooting GMC ABS, Traction, Stability Control Lights On" on YOUCANIC website. The article includes common causes of ABS light turning on in a GMC
