When turning right or left after backing straight out of a parking space I have a very noticeable shudder which I can feel in the steering column and also clearly hear. To be honest I'm afraid to take it to a dealer because I'm afraid of what they might tell me. Anyone have a similar issue and was it corrected? Should mention that while driving I hear and feel similar things but they appear to be toward the middle/rear of the vehicle. The car has new cv axles and front lower suspension bushings along with new wheel bearings. PS fluid level is fine. New front tires and no rubbing. Brakes checked yesterday and were ok. Car has 164K.

The 'mention' suggests there could be a broken exhaust hanger. That also might cause the shuddering you feel and noise you hear. Have someone check the exhaust system for excessively worn or broken hangers. Also have them check the motor mounts and torque struts. Similar things can occur when those are worn or broken.

Thank you. I will have those things checked first and post the findings.
