We've had our Acadia for exactly 1 week and we just started getting a "Service Park Assist" message on the dash...We have the rear backup camera as well and that works fine when we shift into reverse but it states that "symbols are unavailable" and in the information center it says that "Park Assist Off"...

Anyone else seen this?

Thanks,

Tom

The only time we get the Park Assist Off message is if we shift into reverse before the parking brake is released. Other than that, we've never had an issue with it.

:ditto:

The driver information center (DIC) displays SERVICE PARK ASSIST when the object alarm module detects a malfunction in the object detection system and sends a request to the DIC for display of the message. Have you been in some really bad weather recently or backed into a snow bank that might have caused this malfunction???

If it continues I would bring into the dealer for them to check out.

:thumb: The ice melted and the issue melted with it!

Thanks for the input, folks!
