Hi All,
I have a GMC Acadia 2018, and the second-row middle seatbelt is not retracting
I want to replace it with a new one or at least reach it to check it
any Idea how to remove the seat cover to reach the seatbelt or do I have to remove the full seat and then try

Had the same problem. Somehow the belt became twisted and the twisted part got sucked all the way down inside the seat back and was at the retract reel. 1. Remove the three screws and lift the plastic trim at the bottom of the back. 2. Loosen three Velcro loops 3. Unsnap the plastic studs across the bottom and unzip the sides of the back cover 4. Make a slit in the fabric where the mount bolts go into the back on the driver's side only. (or remove the bolt) 5. Pull the cover and foam away from the front of the seat back to access the retractor reel bolt. From there you can UN-twist it and it works fine or replace it. You do not need to remove the seat back or the seat cover to do this.
