I know on my two other vehicles, Jeep & Lincoln, that there is a way to disable the seatbelt chime. In both of them it was a series of clicking and unclicking the seatbelt in a certain sequence. In both of the vehicles the manual told you how to do this. In the manual for the outlook, there is no mention of this. Does anyone know how to disarm the seatbelt chime or is it not possible on the 2008 models. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get it figured out - I just picked my Acadia up today and have been searching on how to do that, Ford and Chrysler make the information easy to find... although actually disabling it was a minor chore.

Thanks for any response pointing to the information on how to disable it....

ummmm...put on your seatbelt?? :D
In all seriousness, though, it will probably disable other things too. I would be too nervous to mess with electrical and computer stuff.
