This has been my experience. Is this normal? I have a 2014 Acadia with 150,000 kms mileage
Bought extended warranty. Dealer charged for inspection prior to warranty expiration. Several items found including needing new struts but nothing was covered under the extended warranty as it was deemed normal wear and tear. My vehicle had less than 100,000 kms mileage at the time. I felt ripped off for paying for the extended warranty.
This is what has gone wrong with my Acadia since warranty expired
1) New Transmission $7,000
2) New Front Struts
3) New rear shocks.
4) New front wiper motors and Assembly $1,000
5) New front driver wheel bearing $1,000
6) Drivers door hinge replacement.
7) Several missing/broken Radio/HVAC knobs. The onyx cover of one radio knob fell off. Part was $100 to replace for a simple knob.
8) New Front and rear AC condenser.
9) Several AC refrigerant charges.
10) leather seats are fraying on side of seat cushions.
This and more with mileage less than 150,000 kms and a lot with less than 100,000 kms
