Of those people that have signed up on the "mygmlink" site.....does your 'recalls' option actually show any of the 'letters' from GM for the recalls?

All the recall campaigns discussed here show up on my list, but when I click on any one of them, it says the letter is not available. Should the list only show recalls that affect my VIN#? or would it list all of them? For those of you that have had some of the recalls done, do they then disappear from the list on your mygmlink page?

nope. only the number appears. the pdf letter never actually showed up on any of mine.

the stuff on your mygmlink.com would be for your car. even without the actual letter or a description

Thanks, Admin. That's where it goes. I would have put it there, but it's (understandably) a locked thread.

Thanks to you both! I used all of this information to fax over to my salesman yesterday afternoon to check my car before I picked it up. He didn't know about a few of these, and was surprised I had my ducks in a row! By the time I got there, he had a print out from the service dept where they ran my VIN and didn't find any of these that needed to be completed. Apparently they were all done at the factory, but it gave me peace of mind to have this confirmed ahead of time. This forum rocks!

The official recall thread has been updated with the Affected VINs, thanks again Kelly. I noticed while cutting and pasting that the Uotlook and Acadia VIN numbers stay almost exactly in line with each other. So far, you could conclude that they are making Acadias and Outlook at a 1:1 ratio. Interesting, though, that Outlooks seem to start at 00001, while Acadias start at 00107. the newest TSB, 07075, affects up to 17500, so there have been at least that many built so far...

You guys rock! :clap2:

I was worried about picking up my permanently "in transit" Acadia because of the recalls/tsbs. I have already been given the VIN so I was able to check it against this thread! Mine must've been built after these and does not appear to need any of these repairs. Woohoo.......if I could only find out more info on where the heck my little Acadia is right now.......I hear he's sleeping at a railway yard near Toronto!!!! :sleepy:

Wake up!!!
