Power liftgate partial open 50% & then closes.
I took off a few panels to view the gear assy for the remote or in vehicle rear hatch open. The rear hatch opens approx 50% then reverses to the closed position. Since the gears look ok I contacted the dealer & there are
two (2) modules controlling the rear hatch. They advised the models would cost approx $650 plus the cost of reflashing them to my specific vehicle which only has 43,000 miles on it. The hatch functions OK manually. I don't feel anything binding when I manually lift the rear hatch open. Anyone else have this problem & have a solution. other than the $600--$800 dealer cost to repair?
