Started the Acadia up and the outside temperature indicator reorganized itself to 99 degree F.... but it's 64. Went down the road for a while and the temperature indicator walked its way down to 64. Now seems fine. Maybe the ghosts in my garage did this... Hmmmm??? Any thoughts?

What do you mean by reorganized?
When you started your car did the temp read correctly and then rise to 99F?
Or had the car sat after being driven? Residual heat fom the engine will create a false reading by the temp sensor which is located just forward of the engine near the driver side headlight.

It is probably normal. It apparently depends on the previous outside temp when the car was last shut off and then takes a while to reprogram itself. Take a look at this thread for similar discussions on the outside temp indicator.
