Onstar told me 2015 gmc Acadia will no longer be available to their features I believe Dec 2022

That's because your '15 Acadia used OnStar via 3g communications. 3g rode off into the sunset to make way for 5g.

I did. That's how I found out effective Dec 2022 it will no longer be available to me

Many Onstar functions are no longer available after the mentioned date as indicated above. Even some 4G will no longer function unless the equipment is LTE compatible plus some other technical issues.

Especially, hands free calling was also ended earlier.
