2015 Acadia Denali AWD, 53K miles. The wife was running errands and texted me that the AC wasn't working. She reported no warning lights. Then after her next stop, it was a crank no start. I got there, tried it, and immediately thought HPFP. Pulled codes:
P0118: Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High Input
P0119: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Intermittent
P0621: Generator Lamp L Control Circuit Malfunction

Has anyone seen a bad coolant temp sensor cause a no start?

To my surprise, it was indeed the coolant temp sensor. The sensor's resistance was so high that the PCM decided the temperature was around absolute zero. It ran the engine so rich that the starting mixture flooded it to the point where it wouldn't ignite at all.
