I agree. I find this to be a friendly forum but forums are not always the place to be if one's little feelings are easily hurt. Seems we have a country full of those these days. Welcome to generation snowflake.

I'm one of those you don't ask "does this dress make me look fat" if you aren't prepared for a truthful answer.

In this case I think over sized black wheels on a black vehicle looks stupid. I had no problem telling my son that when he did it to his TransAm and have no problem sharing that opinion with the OP. In the case of my son, after a couple of months he put the chrome wheels back on his car.
I do agree with what you said and I'm not a fan of the big wheels either. I guess I'm not used to this forum. The other forums I belong(ed) to customization is the norm so while not everything pleases everyone, most people stop at "I don't like it" or "its not my style" type of comments.

Anyway... enough of this and back to the topic.

I hated black rims, but they have really grown on me :thumb: Love the red painted calipers too!

I would love to lower my Acadia just for looks, but it is already too low for my snow. I sometimes need to park at the end of my driveway and hike to the house to get the tractor to clear the driveway before I can proceed, otherwise the front air dam becomes a snow plow. My Sierra already had the air dam torn off in the driveway, and it is much higher.

Looks great! Love the inferno red emblem.

I wonder what folks would say if one of the members did this:

The car looks undriveable to me. It would tear itself apart on some of our gloriously smooth roads. It would leave one heckuva trail of parts between Baltimore and DC. ;D ;D

I'm sure once they air up the suspension to drive height, it would look pretty normal. I know with my 1970 Chev C-20, I always air out the suspension when parked. Then raise it gave up to drive.

Or a busted hose/connection. I've been at shows where a vehicle with air ride went down but couldn't get back up....nothing more embarrassing than having to see your ride leave a car cruise on the back of a flatbed.

That's why on my truck, even aired all the way out it's driveable. Has zero suspension and rides like crap, but in case of a failure I can still get around.

Looking at his profile, the OP has not been seen in 3 1/2 years, not sure you will get a response.
