Hi all. Code reading as P0017
Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor B

My father took it into his mechanic friend. He replaced the Crankshaft sensor. He cleared the code but engine light came back on. I took it back to a random auto store to read the code. Same code popped up. I realized they might’ve mistakenly did the Crankshaft vs reading the code correctly and doing the CAMshaft. Which I replaced the two myself on the exhaust side. Cleared the code again. Engine light still came back on for the same code for the sensor I replaced myself. I see this has happened with other Acadias and it was actually the timing chain but the code was just being thrown wrong but does anyone have any advice?

We had the same code. We had to replace the timing chain. Expensive repair.
