my 08 has had the engine light on for a year now. code keeps saying P0330 for knock sensor. had the back one replaced but now need the bank two done. i want to do it myself but can't locate it. can someone guide me please?
If you know what the part looks like, you should be able to find it easily. A knock sensor is bolted to the engine block.

Also....do some of you noticed if your front rotors still have the t30 screws in place? doing my brakes and notice they are missing. i can't find the right screw from autozone or hardware store....is it a must to have?
It's not a necessary part. That t30 screw is used in the assembly process to hold the rotor in place until the wheels are put on the car. Techs will discard it sometimes when they do a brake job.
