Hello all, new member/Acadia owner here. We just bought a 2008 Acadia AWD with 150,000 miles on it for a second car for my wife. We have an intermittent issue that possibly occurs with wet weather/car wash. 99% of the time the car will run fine, but sometimes it will pop up and give BOTH a flashing engine light AND "Service traction control", which is odd as the two seem unrelated. Sometimes with the flashing engine light it will have a miss, sometimes not. It is corrected by shutting the engine off and re-starting. Then no lights or anything until next time. My mechanic thinks it's a connection somewhere getting wet. Have any of you had this issue and if so, were you able to track it down?

Check your brake fluid. Mine ended up being the solenoid things in the transmission. Messy but cheap fix. I chased it for over a year before I figured it out. I cleaned all computer electrical connections and lubed them with electrical grease to no avail before finally finding the transmission fix.
