I recently purchased a 2014 Acadia Denali. Both headlights are cracked but still work. They have tape on them to keep water out, but i want to replace them. GM wants a fortune for replacement HID lights. Can I change styles and install new non HID Complete headlight assemblies?

It can be done, but there's more to it than just swapping assemblies and bulbs. Bulb sockets, wiring, and relay setups are very different to name a few things.

Another perspective: Yes you can, the current lights will have a driver / ballast near the headlight, that will need to be unplugged and the 12v lead will need to plug into the new assembly, and this will likely require a plug end to be installed to match new bulb style, these can be purchased off Amazon or your local parts store. You will likely have less than 20 bucks into new ends. It’s my opinion that the wiring harness from the body control module to the headlight will be the same on all trim lines sold that year. A quick look might help you decide
