My wife and I are moving to Germany in a couple months and would like to know if the stock navigation system in our 2007 GMC Acadia will work in Europe. I have tried to find a European disk online, but haven't had any luck. I have also called GM and the GM Navdisk people and they couldn't help either. Has anyone brought a North American Acadia overseas, been able to purchased a European Map Nav DVD (if they make them) and had the GPS work? Help.

technically the system should work... however you need the European Disk.
Its a shame that GM has no clue...
I would try to find a GMC dealer in Germany and see if they can get you one.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I have already tried to contact the folks in Germany via the email addresses that are on the GM Intl website. I'm still waiting for a reply. Does anyone out there know if a European disk even exist?

Thanks again - Al
