Does anyone use an type of anti rattle device on their receiver Hitch? My 2012 seems a little loose and is the loudest Hitch I have ever heard. Maybe it is because this is the first unibody I have owned vs full frame but my Suburban never sounded like this.

I know there are different types just looking to buy the most effective.

Thanks

Do you have a hitch ball attached--- and it rattles as you drive down the road...
or it makes noise when you have a load attached to the ball.

I have a thread on this somewhere, but I don't think it got any replies.

I find the reciever on my 17 to be a notably looser fit then my 07 97x (Trailblazer).

I found the spare tire well to have almost no sound deadening, so I added a bit. I also got a hitch lock. The kind I got you put an insert inside the hitch and then the pin is threaded and it sucks it tight to the side. I have one for our bike rack and hitch cargo platform, makes both of those much more stable.

It still doesn't tow as quiet as my 97x, but I think that might be due to the full frame on that versus unibody on the Acadia.
