Another Long Islander here!! I'm from south west Nassau county and I'm on my 2nd Acadia. Had an '07 SLT2 and just got an '11 Denali. Can't believe that I missed this thread. Been here since 4/07 but some how never replied to this thread. :facepalm:

Just an FYI- I saw somewhere a poster said that someone had the EZ Pass mounted in the same spot as he did. If you put the transponder in the dash compartment over the radio, it is out of sight and there is no problem with having it read when going thru tolls. I have been doing this for 4 years now.

My EZPass is mounted on the license plate - the exterior model. Hate the sight of it on the glass but you seemed to have solved that one. Nice. :thumb:

Noting really "wrong" with the 09 it was very reliable. But it had less features than my Envoy I traded for it. Plus the Denalis we saw were really nice. I had purchased the 09 and had a 6year term and didn't want to keep it that long. Had to buy because GM did not offer leasing in 09. I started seeing Denalis at some of the dealerships and I started pricing them and the numbers were just too good to pass. I actually got a lower lease payment than my purchase.

Residual values are strong I suppose keeping the lease payments low. Good if you stay within the mileage allowance.
