When I deactivate my alarm the drivers seat suddenly starts to move to a position up and all the way forward very close to the steering wheel. It is not the "exit" position that you can select to automatically change to when you remove the key or the adjustable setting within the the DIC. I can then push either the #1 or #2 seat memory buttons and the seat returns back to the memory positions previously set by myself and my wife. Anything I should check and or change?

Sounds like you may need to have your key fobs re-learned. I had a similar problem when I first got my Acadia but I just re-learned each key fob and it went away. Page 236 in the manual.

RELEARN REMOTE KEY

This display allows you to match Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) transmitters to your vehicle. To match
a RKE transmitter to your vehicle, do the following:

1. Press the vehicle information button until
PRESS (check mark) TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY
displays.

2. Press the set/reset button until REMOTE
KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.

3. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first transmitter at the same time for
about 15 seconds.

On vehicles with memory recall seats, the first
transmitter learned will match driver 1 and
the second will match driver 2. A chime will sound indicating that the
transmitter is matched.

4. To match additional transmitters at this time,
repeat Step 3. Each vehicle can have a maximum of
eight transmitters matched to it.

5. To exit the programming mode, you must
cycle the key to OFF.

Last night while sitting at a red light behind someone where I could easily see the brightness of my headlights, I noticed for the first time that they dim a bit when using the power seat adjuster.

Johnway - thanks a lot for the info. I'm having the same "Gremlin" >:D problem. I will give it a try. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the information. My husband just mentioned that yesterday. We figured the only difference was using the remote start.
