First of all, I would like to say thank you to everyone who posts in these forums. There is a wealth of information. Almost too much sometimes. Now, onto my question. My wife has a 2008 GMC Acadia with around 100k miles on it that we bought used 2 years ago. We haven't had an issue at all until last month when it threw an engine power reduction and StabiliTrak and traction off fault (P1516, P2135, and P0121). After researching these forums, I decided to clean the throttle body. After cleaning the throttle body, the car worked great for about a week, until this morning. Same symptoms. I looked at the throttle body and it was clean. Put it back together and it is working again. Could it be possible that the throttle body sensor is starting to go out and needs to be replaced? Is it possible to replace the sensor only, or is it part of the throttle body? Have others had this problem and replaced the throttle body and it worked?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
