Hey,

What is everyone throwing in there Acadia's to get rid of the factory cd player. I think I'm going to get the kenwood 6.1 inch for mine. http://www.kenwood.ca/Car_Entertainment/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/Mobile_Video/DNX5140 tell me what you guys think about it. I might also replace all the factory speakers with MTX Audio speakers powered by a Kicker 5 ch. amp and a thunder thin 10" MTX audio sub in the back off to the left. How much is the factory wiring harness to attach from a factory deck to an aftermarket deck. I have a base model SLE 08 GMC Acadia. Does anyone have one for sale??

Component Set
Haven't figured out their website for these.
Coaxial Set

Subwoofer

Thanks for your time,
Travis

Again I don't think anyone has talked about this; I searched and found nothing; maybe it's because I have a serious sinus infection and my brain is in stand by mode :D

Anyone else have thoughts?

If you don't mind looking at an Enclave, go over to that forum and look at my gallery there.

Same user name over there. I installed a Kenwood DNX8120 last fall in my 'Clave. The unit has a 6.95" screen and is configured for dual zone use (if I want) for front seat and second seat passengers. Best thing about Kenwoods are the Nav units are by Garmin and easily updated

I don't have any experience with the Kenwood setup. I installed a Pioneer FT-900 (latest model, has nav, bluetooth, and iPod controls built in) in my '91 Dodge. I'd say stick with the factory setup unless the Kenwood is superior in some way. The Pioneer takes a L-O-N-G time to start up, and is 98% touchscreen controlled. I like to have a few buttons to "navigate" with.

That said, if you buy aftermarket from Crutchfield, you'll pay more money but they will give you everything you need to install it so far as instructions and wiring harnesses.
