looks like a good deal considering all the options you've added, but why just $500 rebate? i assume its the Conquest cash? my dealer added another $500 cash rebate on top of the conquest cash even though i did not own any GM vehicle.

that was what I pasted from Edmunds...
there was an additional $500 rebate on my price... (CSE)...
it was $35,800.
minus $500 CSE rebate (whatever that is)
minus $500 Conquest.
That's how I get $34,800.
without a trade in, it's basically $36K, which is still $1725 below invoice...
mind you this is our starting point at this dealer...

:thumb: buy it!!! basically the same deal that i got. if you lived in the chicagoland area, the dealers are pushing another $1000 Auto Show Bonus cash for purchases only. ;D

I decided that I just don't need AWD here in raleigh, nc...
and I don't care about:
HUD (wasn't impressed...looked like it was at the end of my hood)
115V outlet (I have an inverter if I really need to plug something in)
8way seat (6 ways in enough)...
I was having great difficulty finding a black SLT II with the options I wanted/didn't want...but I just realized I can get the stuff I DO want on an SLT I...
and now I can make the deal I want.
this site has been a huge help.

respect your decisions, although having the HUD and the 115v outlet built in helps a lot, for me. why not have your SLT built?

I think I am just too impatient.
:)
I think I have found the one I want...
if I was still thinking SLT II I would probably have to build it...
to get a carbon with my options.

Looks like a good deal to me too. After shopping around FOREVER, DH and I ended up ordering a SLT2 AWD with the options we wanted because the local inventory just didn't have it without paying for stuff I didn't care about. We ended up with $300 over invoice plus whatever incentives are in effect when we take delivery, which will hopefully be around the first of March.

I will be driving it off the lot this wknd for $35,400.
