In the market, thinking about switching from Toyota Sienna AWD to Acadia AWD. Do significant dirt/rought road driving. How does it do with rought roads, mud buildup, etc. Had issues with the Sienna and the AWD getting screwed up with mud caked on throwing off the driveshaft balance, etc.

Thanks in advance!

the Acadia surely is way better than the Sienna, but both vehicles are not designed for everyday harsh off road use.

I have a 07 Arcadia with AWD and live on a clay/ sand dirt road that gets really nasty with a lot of rain. I travel 3 miles to pavement one way every day and am very pleased with the performance of the vehicle in bad weather. There are times you need AWD or 4wd to get out safely. In fact in really bad weather we can not get UPS deliverys as the trucks can not make it up the hill with the clay being so slick. Hope this helps. Wilson
