I was driving my 2008 GMC Acadia home and the traction control light came on and it began to lose power and "surge" I guess you could say? Kind of how it feels when a coil pack is going bad (for lack of a better description). I pulled over and put it in park and it essentially sputtered out and wouldn't crank back. I had a friend run diagnostic scanner on it and he pulled a code for the crankshaft position sensor. Has anyone had a similar experience? Does it sound like that could be the issue? I don't want to spend and excessive amount of money to have this fixed as it not new by any means being a 2008..
