Hello all, i have a 2021 Acadia at4 that will not shift out of park. I only get a message “conditions not correct for shift.” Does anyone have:

1. Parts diagram of this mechanism
2. Technical knowledge of what is required to fix the issue?

Did the transmission get 'torque locked' on a grade? If so, the owners manual has a section about how to attempt releasing the parking pawl.

FIXED: that’s a great suggestion! I found it in the owners manual and tried the procedure. Unfortunately i didn’t find that anything changed. After disconnecting the power and reconnecting i found that it eventually stopped giving that same issue and was able to shift gears!
