We looked closely at the Pilot when we bought the MDX, and again when we ordered an Acadia. The problem for us was the third row seat. Honda designed it for three passengers, with three sets of seat belts. The placement of the seat belts and bolstering makes the three positions very narrow - too narrow for anyone but small children. My teenagers don't mind the third row in my MDX (which is set up for two passengers), but hated the Pilot third row.coopermine said:I think the new Acura is a waste. The older model was more thoughtful than the latest one. The newer is smaller and has less leg room in its third row, that one is off the list now. The four remaing are
Acadia
Enclave
Audi Q7
'08 Pilot (if it is out by summer this year)
Will see which one gets our money when the time comes. ;D

Congrats. Hope I can sell my 2002 MDX that easily when my Acadia comes.002 said:Sold the 2002 MDX to neighbor without even advertizing--says he wants the Acadia when we sell it in 4-5 years.
Sounds like the market isn't too happy with the new MDX: http://acuramdx.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27352coopermine said:I think the new Acura is a waste.
