IT HAPPENED TO US TWICE. WIFE REPORTED THAT IT "WOULDN'T START" BUT UPON TURNING KEY AGAIN, IT DID. THEN SHE LOOKED AT THE RADIO AND NOTICED THAT THE CLOCK HAD RESET ITSELF TO 12:00 BUT ALL THE RADIO PRESETS REMAINED IN MEMORY. I THOUGHT THAT SINCE IT IS SO SMOOTH, SHE JUST DIDN'T HEAR IT START WHEN IT IN FACT HAD, TILL I SAW ANOTHER POST WITH THE SAME SYMPTOM (CLOCK). I WAS ASSUMING IT WAS A LOOSE BATTERY TERMINAL BECAUSE I KNOW THE BATTERY WAS DISCONNECTED WHILE SITTING IN A MALL IN A DEALER DISPLAY BUT I HAVEN'T HAD THE TIME TO LOOK YET. DEALER TOLD ME TO LOOK AT A RED TERMINAL UNDER THE HOOD. SOMETHING'S UP. PLEASE POST IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU.

The battery is under the second-row passenger seats, not under the hood. There is a red (positive) terminal and a ground terminal under the hood, but they are just for convenience in jumping the vehicle.

Sorry about the problem. I'd take it in to the dealer.

sorry for all the caps.
and in case the reduncancy of this post and the "clock" one annoys anyone, this one adds the momentary non-starting issue.
