I was wondering if any of you have tried playing home made DVDs in your factory DVD player? Specifically has anyone tried a RW (re-writable) disc's?
I just found a DVD recorder for $89 and it sounds like a good deal for us with car DVD players. Now we could in theory record several hours of shows on one disk. Yes it would be compressed but the video quality should be totally fine for a small car display.
$89 - Samsung DVD-VR330 DVD/VCR Combo with DV Input
This Samsung DVD Recorder / VHS Combo Unit is compatible with all Disc Formats (including Dual Layer) and has all the bells and whistles as far as I/O's are concerned (includes FireWire Input).
