This is an idea to share the best or worst deals we have gotten on our Acadias so that others may use them as either a benchmark to negotiate their own deal or to buy from the listed dealer. If done properly, this will save our fellow forum members a lot of time shopping dealers. Members can then search in their region forum for a dealer by name or by city.

Please utilize the following format when posting here:

1) City & State & date of purchase (month/year is fine)
2) Name of dealer & phone # or contact info (name of salesman or Internet manager)
3) Year, type (FWD or AWD), & model (SLE/SLT1/SLT2) of Acadia purchased & options.
4) Price paid as it relates to Edmunds.com invoice- include ALL dealer fees, but not tax or trade-in value. Please only list prices “anyone” can get. This EXCLUDES GM Employee, buying club, credit union, etc.
5) Other comments- got a good price on my trade in, the sales people were very knowledgeable, etc.

Examples:
1) Nonexistent, Nameofstate, July 2008
2) James Smith Pontiac-Buick-GMC, 888-555-1234, Internet Manager John Doe
3) 2009 FWD SLT2 with nav, rear DVD, remote start
4) Paid $39,999 with all fees. Edmunds invoice was $39,899, so I paid $100 over invoice.
5) The dealer was able to order right away. They gave me 1,000 less than average wholesale on my trade.

1) Nonexistent, Nameofstate, July 2008
2) James Smith Pontiac-Buick-GMC, 888-555-1234, Internet Manager John Doe
3) 2009 FWD SLT2 with nav, rear DVD, remote start
4) Did not buy. Dealer would not come off of MSRP of $42,123..
5) The salesperson was aloof and uninformed as to their product. They insisted I finance through them before they would do any negotiating.

1) Bowie, MD 03/07
2) Walker Pontiac, Buick, GMC (now non-existent, shut down in '08) salesman's name was Icky (believe it or not!)
3) 2007 SLT-2, FWD, 6-disk CD w/XM, Bose sound, all other goodies except HUD, NAV or DVD.
4) Sticker was $39,850. With trade and incentives got it for ~$34,500.
5) State taxes, fees, etc. brought final price back to near MSRP

Walker closed because the owner retired and didn't even try to sell the place - not because of the General's current plight.

Switched to Adams Buick/GMC, West Street, Annapolis, MD for service and warranty work. I would steer folks into their driveway for any sales or service. It's a nice, clean dealership (means more to me than other things) with plenty of stock and pretty friendly staff.

1) Alexandria, VA Oct. 2010
2) Ourisman Chevy Buick GMC
3) 2011 Acadia AWD SLT-2, Technology package, Rear seat Entertainment, Nav, Towing, Sunroof(s)
4) Sticker was $48,900, Paid about 45,900 (This included the $2k rebate - so not a great deal, really)
5) This place is slimy and deceitful. I was quoted a lower price via email but somehow they magically made another $1k off of me. I was not prepared for the old-school bait and switch tactics - I'll have to remember to eat my Wheaties next time...

Wow - cannot believe these prices compared to what I paid in 08 - granted it's three model years later but still basically the same car.

2) Covert Buick GMC, 512-583-3000, Josh Lee
3) 2011 FWD SLT2 Carbon Black with nav, heated and cooled seats, towing, sunroof. Also threw in cargo cover and hitch cover.
4) Paid $40,942 including all fees and $1500 rebate. Sticker $44,525. Edmunds invoice was $42,012. TrueCar.com dealer cost is $39,275.
5) Didn't have the vehicle we wanted, so they found one at another dealer and did dealer trade. They gave me $1,000 more than KBB blue book trade-in on my trade.
