backlight burnt out

2017 gmc acadia denali -- anyone else have 1 of these backlights on their heater/air conditioning controls burn out and fix it? Wondering how.

I had one go out within year 1, under warranty. They replaced the entire head unit. Hopefully that's not a sign...

Had it happen on my '19. Entire control unit replaced under warranty - exactly 2 days before warranty ended.
