I recently bought the wife a 2017 Acadia slt and recently started having the service stabilalink message flash on the dash. It only happens when the auto start stop is occurring. No check engine codes, no permanent codes showing. I replaced the brake switch but that didn’t fix the issue. Anyone have a solution it’s more annoying than anything. Thanks in advance.

It's the battery. Time to replace. Had this exact issue on my previous '17 XT5 and researched it. There's a lot of info out there that pointed to the battery, so I had my Caddy dealer do a battery test and sure enough it was bad (original battery in a 2017 and this happened in Dec 2023, so 5-6 years on the battery was good!). The AGM's on these cars have a special battery monitor and the test they do is not the usual kind that AutoZone does, it's a more involved test.
100% it's your battery.

I appreciate the response. I’ll switch batteries and go from there.
Have it load tested for sure, likely culprit.
I already replaced my '19 battery start of winter. But we swing from highs of mid 90's (at times over 100F, 2 years ago hit 113!) to lows of 0-5F (extremes can hit -5F). Tough on batteries (and me!).

So the wife got in her car this morning and all the lights were on. So I went ahead and changed the battery, it had the oem battery still. Not too bad on it lasting awhile. I have yet to duplicate the service stabilink message. Thank you guys for the help.

The Stabilitack message is a generic "you have something wrong" message and it has nothing to do with the braking. My car did it a few times but cycling the engine always solved it and it hasn't done it in a long time. It even through that warning when my vapor valve failed...
