I have a 2017 Acadia that earlier in the summer had no AC. The dealer said it needed a refrigerant recharge but couldn’t find a leak (they figured it was very small). I also told them that my outdoor temp reading was erratic in that it was stuck on a cooler temp than it was.. typically my garage temp versus the real summer outdoor temp. They did nothing about that. Last week I had the same issue, and the AC became weak. But, the sensor finally updated about 2 hours later and all was ok. I boiught a new sensor online for $7.00 and figured I would replace it myself since I no longer trust this dealer. Problem is, I can’t find any info online as to exactly where it’s located. Can someone help?

From what I could find its somewhere in the engine bay. Either in the area of the front grill or on one of the bay walls. The lower part of the front grill assembly makes the most sense to me but whens the last time something was built that made sense!! 😂 Anyway, hope this helps?
