For sure the voltage stays well within the warning range. No DIC or Service Battery Charging System occurs. With the AC on, I do notice the blower speed will go down when the volts drop and then goes back up when the volts go back. I've seen up to a 1 volt flux from many years and different types of cars. This would be the first time I've seen it flux between 1-3 volts. I agree, the couple of hours of swapping alternators is not something I enjoy :)

I have swapped out another alternator and the voltage drop issue is now gone. The latest alternator works as designed.
Again, the problems I've been having with the shutters/Jolt and power loss to the engine ended up being the original alternator. Hopefully if others have these symptoms like I've had. This might be where to look.
