Concerning road salts and their tendency to "pit" chromed wheels, the Acadia Manual states

Notice: Chrome wheels and other chrome trim may be damaged if you do not wash your
vehicle after driving on roads that have been sprayed with magnesium, calcium or sodium chloride. These chlorides are used on roads for conditions such as ice and dust. Always wash your vehicle’s chrome with soap and water
after exposure.

Are there any Acadia owners with chrome wheels who made it through last winter (living in the north of course)? How did your chrome hold up?
