I was playing with my Acadia's A/C the other day because in stop and go traffic I was getting 65 degree air on an 85 degree day. I heard a hissing sound, I read here in the forum that it means I am low on 134a. So I hooked up my gauges put it to max a/c with the aux for the back on. As long as the AUX was on it was at 30psi low and 250 psi high Compressor running constant. When i turn off the AUX the low psi drops to down to 28 psi causing the compressor to cycle off every 30 second because i assuming that it is getting too cold. I would like to add some but with the high psi at 250 it makes me nervous to run it up any more than that.
