JUST A QUICK HELLO AS A NEW MEMBER AND A HEADS UP FOR ANY OF YOU BUYING THE NEW ACADIA. PURCHASED IT JANUARY 30TH, NOISE FROM ENGINE/TRANSMISSION. TOOK IT IN AND THEY REPLACED THE TRANSFER CASE. WHILE THEY HAD IT A NOTICE IS OUT FROM GMC THAT THE RIGHT FRONT AXLE HAS ISSUES WITH THE SHAFT THREADS BEING STRIPPED, AND OF COURSE MINE WAS. INSTALLED A NEW AXLE. PICKED UP THE CAR AND DIDNT GET 5 MILES FROM THE SHOP AND NOISE BEGAN AGAIN. JUST RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THAT IT IS A TORGUE TUBE PROBLEM. 2500 MILES ON IT AND ALL THESE PROBLEMS ALREADY
Nah. You mentioned the "important" item.DIDNT REALIZE THIS WAS A PLACE TO BE CRITICISED FOR MY CHOICE OF FONT. I GUESS THE SUBSTANCE OF WHAT I POSTED DIDNT RESONATE WITH AT LEAST ONE PERSON.
A shouting rant is more likely to resonate with others having a proclivity for same.DIDNT REALIZE THIS WAS A PLACE TO BE CRITICISED FOR MY CHOICE OF FONT. I GUESS THE SUBSTANCE OF WHAT I POSTED DIDNT RESONATE WITH AT LEAST ONE PERSON.
My 2011 was a great vehicle with a few intermittent flaws, and my 2022 (with just over 7k miles) is so far even better. The torque tube issue has been mentioned more than once before on this forum. Maybe a bad part manufacturing run. That's what the warranty is for.Hey GM! What 16 years now....AND YOU STILL CAN'T BUILD AN ACADIA THAT AINT A BUMPER TO BUMPER POS
2,500 miles and all of that happens.A shouting rant is more likely to resonate with others having a proclivity for same.

9 posts already. Ha. Hadn't noticed. What an amusing thread.......so much yelling and calls to lawyer up from a guy with 9 posts and a 14 year old Acadia.
As long as the dealer takes care of the OP's issues, I don't see a problem.
I've had an '11 and an '18 and my next lease is going to be a '23.
I here that often.Probably should have bought a 2019 Ford Explorer. Or Dodge Durango.
Then there would be more to complain about.
There are some things called research and due diligence before buying a 14 year old vehicle.
Plus . . news FLASH ! !
All vehicles since about 2007 or 2008 have more and more complicated electronics, complex valve trains, Gasoline Direct Fuel Injection and the history of issues as the technology evolved because of EPA mandates and emission controls.
Do I like it and most owners? No . . . . but then according to your reasoning they are all POS.
Not Just GM ! ! !
Ever hear this - - - > IT IS WHAT IT IS ! !

My main emphasis (to be clear) is....Well . . . just was continuing with the trend in this thread. . . LOL
Alex, I'll take "Things that never happened" for $500 please.Long ago, a man pull up in front of a dealership with the long version Dodge window van. He parked it sideways infront of the service garage entrance, wedging it in between the yellow bump posts. He locked it up. Went inside. And made them contact the owner of the dealership. Who did show up. The man walked out with keys to a brand new van. I know this because this man was my foreman.

I don't know what Lee3 paid for his Acadia.
But "clearly" the staff at the dealership he took it to has only [guess work part swappers] attending his vehicle. And "clearly" the management there, has no sense of urgency to turn this mess around.
Lee3 and a few others who's conundrums I've read about since joining this forum....
Are not going to get these matters turned around, by walking calmly in and saying
"please kind sirs, fix my car".

A normal kind and patient man who had enough.
Thank You.
