There were many '22 GM vehicles built without working park assist. Should have shown as a credit on the window sticker.
Thank you. Does yours have a working Park Assist? There were many '22 GM vehicles built without working park assist. Should have shown as a credit on the window sticker.
Or both. Mine came without front seat blower and park assist modules. Credit for both on the sticker, plus retrofit. Got the seat blower module in Q4 2022 - park assist module due any time now.Check you paperwork. You may be owed the parking assist retrofit or there was a credit on the window sticker.
Strange how they are allocating those features. My '23 Acadia was built a few months before your Traverse and includes the rear park assist.<snip>
My 2023 traverse built 1 month ago, shows -$145 for the park assist. So im not getting it.

I think they now have sensors. The service manager told me yesterday that a recall notice will be mailed out “sometime later” for a retrofit. We’ll see.I wonder if it has to do with the bumpers.
Some 22 traverse owners have the bumpers with the sensors. But no module. They will be retrofitted.
Mine has no sensors.
So the bumper is smooth. No holes no sensors.
If it was retrofitted, they would have to give me a brand new bumper. With precut holes to mount sensors.
So i guess its just easier to give a refund.
I wonder if they are saving the few sensors for body color painted bumpers?
The alert type, beep or seat vibration is a personalization option.Got my parking module retrofit today. It doesn't beep like I thought it would - rather, it activates the seat buzzer to warn you of immediate proximity. Another cool feature is it knows when you're pulling into a parking spot (likely senses an adjacent vehicle) and activates the front camera assist.
