Here are some pictures for those interested. A couple things I like underneath about the Acadia....
-Oil filter & drain pan plug access is very easy for serviceability.
-12.5" diameter front brake rotors with dual piston calipers.
-12" diameter rear rotor
-"boxed" unibody structural rails with outboard, perpendicular crumple supports.
everything seems easily accessible... Fuel rails, brake lines, control arms.
Dislikes...
-The exhaust... This thing is massive, 4 catalytic converters, a resonator and dual mufflers... Plus, it hangs very low at the rear differential.. GM could have tucked this up another inch or two.
-There are alot of "openings" for salt and debris to be trapped.
-Unique rear suspension.. two lower control arms, one upper and a lateral control arm.
-electronic parking brakes are a first for me... Not sure of their dependability..
-single piston rear caliper on a 12" rotor.
