2019 Acadia - Radiator Fan runs constantly, No AC, Power Assist Reduced, Thermostat Gauge to Cold

We have this 2019 Acadia where all of a sudden, at random, the radiator fan runs on high constantly, the AC stops blowing cold air, the thermostat gauge on the dash drops to the C, and the Power Assist is reduced and pops up as a message on the dash as well. Sounds like this may be a common problem among Acadia's. It resets at random and everything appears to be normal for a while. In addition, there are no check engine lights and no codes to check.

What is the issue so I can fix what needs to be fixed?

I don't want the dealer to tell me 8 different things and my bill to be astronomical.

Thanks for the help!

Unless there is someone out there that has already performed this task, it doesn't seem like a very good idea to me.

Might be time to tow it to a professional.
Will a normal shop be able to deal with this? That's part of what I'm wondering. It blows my mind that the engineering resulted in the sensor being in such a difficult to reach location.
It's one of those problems that some shops will embrace but other shops will tell you to take it elsewhere.
Any thoughts on the following issue... I attempted to replace the temp sensor. Part of the brass thread broke off in the block. Normally, I'd say there are probably ways to get the rest of the sensor out without too much difficulty, but space is such an issue. Any possibility of tapping a new hole at a different location for the temperature sensor? Not good.
I would take it to the dealership.... I am sure this has happened before...I would not try to make a new spot for the sensor, you could be creating a much bigger problem.
Check "You Tube" to see if there is a video regarding your problem...
Does the broken part have a hole in the center or is solid? Can you use a pipe nipple extractor?

Whole system is a crappy design for sure but really not that tough to replace the thermostat, just make sure you get the proper gaskets. I'd suggest changing plugs while you're in there if you're due. You'll have to take the intake off to get to them later and replace the same gaskets.

There are codes and the check engine light will be on, then see that it has corrected itself and go back off. Just had mine done a month ago......all good for now
